Gradings June 2024

Historically, over the course of Banstead TaeKwon-Do (since 2009), we have held gradings 3 or 4 times a year. As the club as grown in numbers people are developing at different times and it seemed fair this year to run gradings for several months in a row to give people several chances.

The June gradings however were bigger than normal because I offered many people at my After School Clubs (ASC) the opportunity to grade up. Many of the students at school clubs have been working towards this moment for a couple of terms.

The tail end of June saw gradings for students from:

Banstead TKD public classes
The Beacon ASC
Seaton House School ASC
Chinthurst School ASC
Reigate Grammar School ASC

Not everyone passed this time around, but they will certainly have some time to practice over the summer and have another chance in August or September.

Many people worked super hard for these gradings and performed excellently, the added incentive to work hard was the Impact Open Competition close to the grading date. They go hand in hand, Work hard for a grading and your chances at Competition improve, and vice versa.
