Croydon MINI 2nd Chance competition

May 16th saw a handful of Banstead TKD competitors and umpires head to the TaeKwon-Do Impact HQ, Croydon, to take part in a small competition for students with little competition experience where everyone would get a second chance to compete - i.e. everyone gets at least two goes in each event.

We took part in patterns and sparring and I was very pleased to see some very good individual performances from all members of the Banstead team, each person out performing their previous best.

Hollie was the club coach for the day and it's rewarding to her be so confident and delivering excellent instructions during sparring matches and making on the fly corrections during patterns.
