Banstead TaeKwon-Do is growing fast, we now run 5 TaeKwon-Do sessions at 4 schools a week; 1 Self Defence session a week for a 6th form; 2 Day Time TKD sessions a week; and 5 standard evening sessions of TaeKwon-Do across all age groups.
It is coincidence that nearly everyone became ready for a grading around the same time of the year, and there is no way I could cover 150 people in a single grading. So I have spread it out over several months, with one grading a month currently.
We had gradings in March and April, with one scheduled for May and probably one in late June or early July. This gives students targets to aim for and also the opportunity to defer if they don't feel ready, or resit a month later if not successful on grading day.
It's important to add that even though grading opportunities are currently just a few weeks apart students don't get the chance to do successive gradings, people still need to make significant improvements in their skill and knowledge and exceed the recommended training times.
