About Junior TaeKwon-Do & Martial Arts

TaeKwon-Do is a structured traditional martial art with a strong emphasis on technical fundamentals, physical application and self protection. School pupils in years 7 - 11 are taught the full ITF TaeKwon-Do syllabus which includes kicking techniques, hand techniques, self defence, sports sparring and power development. 

It's an art that has real value for school age pupils and can help people find an activity they find they can do well in.

Class Times & Cost

Classes for Beacon School pupils Autumn 2023 will be: 

• TUESDAYS 3 - 4pm in the school sports hall

• School PE Kit is all that is required for starters

• First class FREE, then the total cost of the term is calculated on £6 per lesson and the term is payable after the first lesson. (If there are 12 timetabled session then the term fee would be £72. Exact number of lessons TBC)
